Karma (IMHO)
For Smarties

Karma is not what the fear mongering want us to believe. So, first and foremost; if you throw karma around like a weapon - for your own benefit - please STOP it immediately!!
Have you noticed how we’re all learning different lessons and how sometimes what’s glaringly obvious to some of us, is hiding in plain sight for others?
Yeah?
Perhaps then you’ve also noticed when you’re having a great day, then suddenly you say or do something seemingly small that doesn’t align with your true self (you will always feel this internally when you go out of alignment with Self) and then simultaneously something “ucky” happens externally which takes you out of alignment with that otherwise great day you were having?
Ultimately gifting you with an opportunity to pause and take heed at the possibility that the Universe just gave you a lesson to ponder.
No?
Well, to most, it’s hard to see the aforementioned quite so clearly … but for me, my karma - in the form of a lesson - almost always comes instantly, and I always fair well when I take a moment to ponder and take heed.
You see, that’s why I believe that karma is the Universe gifting us an opportunity to better ourselves. To come into alignment with the best version of ourselves - the one that we all deserve to become!
In other words, I believe that karma is (for our own) GOOD!
And I wholeheartedly understand being wrongfully treated and wanting to whip out that go-to karmic weapon of choice on the morally corrupt and systemically soiled.
BUT …
Who am I to judge or play jury at the peril of another when they are having a completely different journey to that of the one I am.
Or more to my point; why would I choose to involve myself in their karmic lesson by taking myself out of alignment with who I am to align with their energy by harbouring ill-will, festering in negativity, and/or trying to punish them?
Repeat after me:
I choose to stay in my power and remain in alignment with Self.
Do you understand what I mean?
In my humble opinion, Karma is a Universal gift that enables us to better ourselves. No matter where we are in the perceived pecking order or what end of the yardstick we’re on.
And while some don’t always see what is hidden in plain sight, the Universe does.
So for those that still don’t, I ask this question:
What if they did you wrong/that happened because it needed to happen in exactly that order to make room for the right people/situation - for the both of you!?
And all you needed was a little more faith in yourself to remain focussed on what you truly deserve - ultimately allowing your life (and theirs) to unfold in exactly the way it’s meant to unfold.
So then - if what I am saying rings somewhat true for you too and you sometimes throw karma around like a metaphorical weapon, then I challenge you to loosen your grip (aka your need to control their narrative) and just let the Universe do its job.
I challenge you to pause and take heed of what YOU need to grow from said experience and instead of giving your power away with vengeful thoughts about them or their karma; I challenge you to focus on YOUR silver lining.
That way, instead of giving your power away (even more) to them, you can consciously shift your thoughts towards the incredible gifts that you have waiting in your destiny … without harbouring any of the lessons that weren’t actually meant for you.
After all;
Karma is a gift - it’s our opportunity to grow! So don’t worry about what the next person is doing (or has done), just do your thing - and do it well, while remaining true to you!
